Kardyberdy Ogly Mollanepes, commonly known as just Mollanepes, was a classical poet who lived in the 19th century. Alot of biographical information about Mollanepes has been preserved compared to other classical poets. He was born in 1810 in today's Sarahs district. His father's name Mullah Kadyrberdi. Kadyrberdi had four sons, the youngest of whom was Nepes. Since Kadyerberdi was a very learned and literate, the word "Mullah" was added to his name, and the name Mollanepes became popular. In the past, poets were generally addressed with epithets such as Molla Kemine and Molla Zelili. Mollanepes first studied at the village school, then at Maryda Molla Tore's madrasah. Later, after completing the Bukhar Madrasah, he attained the rank of ahon. He studied the works of the great wordsmiths of the East, Nizami, Nova, Ferdowsi, Fuzuli, and Magtymguly Pyragy. The poet was well versed in Arabic and Persian languages. He used read poems of Persian poets from the original texts. He also studied the scriptures of Muslims and Christians, the Quran and the Bible respectively. [1]></ref>
