Kaizen Gaming, registered as Kaizen Gaming International Ltd.[1] is an international GameTech company, providing online sports betting and gaming services through two brands: Betano and Stoiximan.[2]
The company is registered in Malta and operated in 2024 in 17 countries[3] with its main location being in Athens,Greece [4]. It currently employs over 2,500 staff across its locations. [5]
History
editThe company was founded in 2012, as Gambling Malta Limited while in 2018 it was reorganised as GML Interactive Ltd (GML) to be finally rebranded as Kaizen Gaming International Ltd in 2020.[6]
Out of the 17 countries it operates in, 15 are under the Betano brand and 2 under the Stoiximan Brand. Betano is present in Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Nigeria, Ontario Canada, the UK, Germany, Mexico, Peru, Portugal and Romania,[7] while Stoiximan is present in Greece and Cyprus.[8]
Sponsorships
editIn 2022 Betano and Stoiximan became official sponsors of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.[9][10]. In 2024 Kaizen Gaming and Betano were announced as the official global betting sponsors of the UEFA EURO 2024™ [11]. In the same year Kaizen Gaming was announced as the official partner of CONMEBOL until 2028 and official sponsor of CONMEBOL Copa America™️ 2024, with Betano being the global sponsor [12] and Stoiximan the sponsor in Greece and Cyprus. [13]
Club sponsorships include Stoiximan being the main sponsor of top Greek football teams Olympiacos FC[14], Panathinaikos FC [15] and PAOK FC [16], and Betano being the main sponsor of Porto FC [17], SL Benfica [18] and Sporting CP [19] in Portugal, Clube Atlético Mineiro [20] in Brazil, AC Sparta Praha [21] and Viktoria Plzen [22] in Czech Republic, FCSB [23] in Romania among others. In April 2024 Betano was announced as the principal and front-of-shirt partner of Aston Villa F.C. for the seasons 2024-25 and 2025-26.[24]
Kaizen Gaming has supported through the Stoiximan brand Olympic gold medal winners Anna Korakaki[25], Lefteris Petrounias [26], Katerina Stefanidi [27], Miltos Tentoglou [28] and Stefanos Ntouskos [29] among others. Stoiximan is also the official sponsor of the Greece Men’s and Women’s Water Polo National Teams. [30]
In March 2023, two-time NBA MVP and 2021 NBA Champion, Giannis Antetokounmpo, was announced as Betano’s first ever Global Ambassador [31]
