Kampala Library and Information Centre also called KCCA Library or Kampala Public Library, is one of the oldest public libraries in Uganda.[1] Currently, the Adult Library is located at City Hall - KCCA Headquarters as the Main Library and is run by the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Act of 2010. editKampala Library and Information Center is located at KCCA Headquarters (City Hall) and has two branches around the city, namely the Lubaga Division Urban Council Public Library which is one of the most functional branches. It is also known as KCCA Library, and is one of the oldest public libraries in Uganda. It serves as a resource for the residents of Kampala, providing access to a range of educational materials and information services.[2]

editKLIC comprises two main sections: the Adults Library and the Children’s Library.[1] The Adults Library caters to individuals aged 13 years and older, while the Children’s Library is designed for young readers between 4 to 12 years old.[1] Children under 5 may use the library if accompanied by an adult.
