Kaung Myat Thu ( born 28 February 1999) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Shan United. He played his first international match and first international goal against Kasuka FC for ASEAN Club Championship.

Kaung Myat Thu is the product of Ayeyawady United youth plan. He become a goal machine of Ayeyawady United Senior team.

Young Elephants

In 2023, He transferred to Laos Club, Young Elephants FC[2] and won Laos League Title Champions.[3]

Mahar United

After that, he moved again to Myanmar National League Club, Mahar United.

Shan United

At the end of the 2023 season, Shan United signed him for free. In July 2024, He scored his first international goal against Kasuka FC for ASEAN Club Championship. [4]
