editShehan was born on 5 May 1999 in Colombo, Sri Lanka as the eldest of the family. His father is G.W.C Jayasiri and his mother H.A.L Gunasekara is a housewife. He completed education from Ananda College. He has one younger sister, Nayanathara Demindi.[1]
