This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Keenan Poloncsak is a multidisciplinary artist based in Montréal, known for his work as an author, illustrator, bookbinder and film maker. Specializing in comic and children's book illustration, he self-publishes and often binds his own books, bringing a hands-on, personal touch to his creations[1]. Poloncsak is also a full-time bookbinder at The Bookbinder of the Faubourgs[2], a traditional bookbindery located in Montréal's Faubourgs à m'lasse neighborhood.
Poloncsak's notable works include the underground comic series Pro-can (2006-2009)[3][4], which tells the story of cannibal zombies taking over Montréal and Squid-Gee (2010-2018), a series about a prehistoric squeegeeing squid. The complete Squid-Gee Octology was nominated for the 2019 Gene Day Awards in the self-published comics and graphic novels category.[5] He has participated in the Montreal Comic Arts Festival in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024 [6]
He has also published trilingual and quadrilingual children's books, such as Northern Mink (2017) [7] and Opossum’s Landing (2021). His work spans various media, including film, with projects such as Pro-Can(ibalizm) (2013) [8] and Termitator (2017) [9][10]
Poloncsak was a guest in the True North Country Comics Podcast in 2020 [11]
