Ken Pillonel is a Swiss engineer in robotics. He got a Master's degree in Robotics at the EPFL in 2022. He is known for having hacked an iPhone to replace the Lightning connector by a USB-C connector to impouve re-usability of chargers and reduce environmental impact of e-waste.[1]. This was in fact the first fully functional iPhone with USB-C connector.[2]

Since this first public apparition, he is pushing reduction of e-waste modifying large consumer products.
