Kevin Andrew L. Tan is a Filipino-Chinese businessman currently serving as the president and chief executive officer of Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI), a diversified conglomerate with interests in real estate, food and beverage, and entertainment and hospitality.[1][2][3]

Career

Tan began his career in real estate as a sales agent at Megaworld Corporation, the real estate arm of AGI, focusing on large-scale development projects and commercial establishments. Tan began serving as AGI’s executive director in 2012 and was promoted to CEO in 2018. In June 2024, Tan was appointed as president of AGI in addition to his role as vice chairman and chief executive officer.[4][5][6]

Personal life and education

Tan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Asia and the Pacific.[7] He is the son of Andrew Tan, founder of AGI. [8][9]

Tan married banker Michelle See in 2013 at an event held in Singapore. They have two children together.[10][11][12]

Awards

Tan was honored at the Asia Leaders Awards in 2019.[13] He was also included in Tatler’s list of Asia’s Most Influential from 2021 until 2023. [14][15] Prior to that, he also received the People of the Year Award from PeopleAsia in 2018. [16]
