Kim Whalen is an American actress and singer.

Career

In November 2009, Whalen joined the Off-Broadway cast of The Fantasticks as Luisa, replacing Addi McDaniel.[1][2] She left the production in 2010.[3]

In the early 2010s, Whalen appeared in two independent films: 2011's The Tree of Life, as Mrs. Brown, and 2014's A Winter Rose, as the titular Winter Rose.[4] Whalen had a brief appearance on Glee as a member of the acapella group The Golden Goblets.[3]

Whalen has been involved with Los Angeles-based theatre group StarKid Productions since 2019.

Personal life

Whalen attended University of Texas Arlington,[6] and briefly attended Collin College before pursuing acting full-time.[3] In the late 2000s, Whalen moved to New York City.[11]

Whalen married fellow actor Curt Mega in 2010; the couple met in 2008, while co-starring in a production of The Light in the Piazza in Dallas, Texas.[3]
