Background
Kyle Matthews (born 1982) is an American entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, one of the largest privately held commercial real estate brokerages in the United States.[1] Born into a family with a legacy in professional football, Matthews is the son of former Cleveland Browns player Clay Matthews Jr., nephew of Hall of Fame offensive tackle Bruce Matthews, and older brother of Super Bowl champion Clay Matthews III.[1] Though he played football at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2000 to 2004, Matthews transitioned to a career in real estate rather than pursuing professional football.[1]

Matthews began his career in real estate as a broker, working for firms like Marcus & Millichap and Colliers before founding Matthews Real Estate Investment Services in 2015.[2] Under his leadership as chairman and CEO, the company has grown to become a prominent brokerage firm with over 1,000 agents and 25 offices across the country.[3] Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Matthews Real Estate Investment Services specializes in various commercial real estate services. Initially based in California, Matthews relocated the company’s headquarters to Nashville in 2019 to improve access to clients nationwide and to balance family life.[5] Matthews is known for a business culture emphasizing high work ethic, discipline, and a commitment to success, attributes he credits to his family values. Personal Life
Kyle Matthews is married and has four children. His interests outside of work revolve around family activities and coaching his children’s sports.
