Lauranne Oliva is a French-Catalan opera singer, lyric coloratura soprano, born in Ayguatebia near Perpignan, France.[1]
The artist performs mainly in baroque operas by Monteverdi and Gluck, in works by French composers: Bizet, Delibes, Ravel, and also in Mozart's operas.
Nominated for the 2024 Victoires de la Musique Classique award in the 'Revelation opera singer' category.[2]
In 2023, she won the First Prize and the Swiss Opera Prize in the New Voices 2023 competition at the Opéra-Comique in Paris,[3] as well as the First Prize and the Audience Prize in the Paris Opera Competition 2023 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris.[4]
In 2021, she was awarded the Richard Wagner International Scholarship by the Richard Wagner Society in Nice.[5]
