Left Angle is a deep tech SAS (Société par Actions simplifiée) start-up that develops professional software applications and cloud-based solutions for motion graphics, VFX (visual effects) /compositing, and mass personalized video production.[1][2] The main office space is located in INRIA research lab in Grenoble, France.[1]
History
editLeft Angle was founded by software developer Alexandre Gauthier-Foichat and longtime graphic designer François Grassard in 2019.[1][3]
Awards
editLeft Angle has received the i-Lab 2020 and i-Nov 2021[4] awards, which recognize significant work in research and development, contribution to the French economy, and innovation.[5]
Products
editLeft Angle's first product, Autograph, is a motion graphics / VFX / compositing software application that was released in January 2023.[3][6][2] Autograph is supported on Microsoft Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
In March 2023, the company remarketed the product under two tiers: Autograph Studio for studios and Autograph Creator for freelancers.[7] Autograph has been referred to as an "After Effects alternative" software application and a hybrid software "between Adobe After Effects and Nuke".[8][9]
