editLiquid Agency was established in 2000 in San Jose, California, by founder and CEO Scott Gardner.[4] Over time, Liquid Agency expanded with offices in New York, Portland, and Santiago, Chile, serving clients on a global scale.[5][6]
The agency's clients have included companies such as Walmart, Nasdaq, Google, Nike, Microsoft, Silicon Valley Bank, and John Deere.[7] Liquid Agency operates under a flexible and collaborative model, utilizing talent and resources across its various locations, including notable figures like Marty Neumeier, formerly of Neutron LLC.[8] The agency has expanded its services to include areas such as employee experience and digital-first campaigns.[9][10]
Mergers and Acquisitions
editIn 2009, Liquid Agency merged with the strategic consultancy Neutron LLC.[11][12] In February 2020, the agency acquired Vignette, an employee experience agency based in Portland.[13] In 2024, Liquid Agency further expanded by acquiring MindHandle, an employment branding agency based in Dallas.[7][14]
