Draft:List of Codename: Kids Next Door characters

Codename: Kids Next Door is an animated television series that features a fictional cast of characters created by Tom Warburton. The series follows the adventures of a diverse group of 10-year-old children (later retconned to be varying ages), using codenames Numbuhs 1 through 5, who are the main home operatives of what is known as Sector V, a treehouse which is part of a worldwide organization called the Kids Next Door. Other Kids Next Door operatives also have recurring roles.

Main characters

Numbuh 1

Numbuh 1/Nigel Uno (voiced by Benjamin Diskin) is the British-American leader and head operative of Sector V, and the only child and son of Monty Uno. Originally from England, his family moved to America when he was three years old. Described as a tactical genius by some and as a paranoid workaholic by others, He takes his position and responsibilities as a KND operative very seriously, often engaging in missions for days at a time without rest. Nigel is extremely suspicious of adults, sometimes falling into paranoia, but it is later revealed that his parents were also affiliated with Kids Next Door.

Numbuh 2

Numbuh 2/Hogarth Pennywhistle "Hoagie" Gilligan, Jr. (voiced by Diskin) is the Jewish-American nerdy, joke-cracking engineer, pilot, and 2x4 technology officer of Sector V, and the older brother of Tommy Gilligan. He is dexterous, good at handling and inventing machines, and the treehouse is his design.

Numbuh 3

Numbuh 3/Kuki Sanban (voiced by Lauren Tom) is the cheerful Japanese-American tactician and medic of Sector V, and the older sister of Mushi Sanban. She is caring and energetic, but loses her concentration easily. She is a big fan of the Rainbow Monkeys franchise, which are multicolored plush monkeys with a rainbow on their head.

Numbuh 4

Numbuh 4/Wallabee "Wally" Beatles (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) is the Australian-American brash hand-to-hand combatant of Sector V, and the older brother of Joey Beatles. He is notably short-tempered, hotheaded, and impulsive. Numbuh 4 is also known for his lack of intelligence and short height, for which he is teased about. He is close friends with Numbuh 2 and has a mutual crush on his teammate, Numbuh 3.

Numbuh 5

Numbuh 5/Abigail "Abby" Lincoln (voiced by Cree Summer) is the African-American intelligent, relaxed second-in-command of Sector V. She is the younger sister of Cree Lincoln, who is an adversary of KND. Originally from France, she moved to America when she was young. Despite having been the leader of Sector V before Numbuh 1, she has no interest in regaining the position. She is good at martial arts and strategy planning. On the other hand, she is also shown to be fond of candy and ice cream. Despite her and Cree's hostility towards each other, she cherishes the red hat that she gave her.
