In Grand Prix motorcycle racing, each bike is numbered. Riders can choose their personal numbers, which will be used for the rest of their career in premier class. Rider, who won the championship previous year, has the ability to use №1 (like Francesco Bagnaia in 2023[1]) or stay with the personal number.[citation needed]
