Draft:List of storms named Pulasan

The name Pulasan has been used to name one tropical cyclone in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The name was submitted by Malaysia and refers to a kind of fruit popular there. It replaced the name Rumbia, which was retired following the 2024 Pacific typhoon season.[1] The storm Rumbia was rather weak, however, it brought so much rainfall in eastern China that it produced much damage. In February 2019, the ESCAP/WMO Typhoon Committee retired the name Rumbia, replacing it with Pulasan.[2]
