History
editM.Y.R.A. Entertainment was established in 2007 by producer and filmmaker Margarethe Baillou in New York City. Baillou founded the company as a space to foster the development of films which abstain from graphic violence and promote intercultural understanding..[1][2]
In its early years, M.Y.R.A. associate produced the documentary short "Body & Soul: Diana & Kathy" (2007)[3] before producing the video art piece "One After" (2009)[4], the narrative shorts "Telling a You" (2013)[5] and "Le Pardon" (2014)[6], and feature film Drawing Home (2016)[7].
In 2016, the company expanded its global reach by setting up an office in London. Subsequently, the company moved on to executive producing the features Call Me by Your Name (2017)[8], Change in the Air (2018)[9], and The World to Come (2020)[10]
Following its 2021 opening of an office in Singapore, M.Y.R.A. produced the short "And So I Begin" (2022)[11] and executive produced the feature Freud's Last Session (2023)[12].[13]
