Major Thiare is An American Army Officer who was born in Fatick Senegal . He is the son of Francois Thiare a former schoolteacher who was also a member of the French Army who fought in Dien Bien Phu (Vietnam ) in 1955. His mother name was Alice Sene the daughter of The Founder the current City of Saly Joseph. In fact, His Grandfather Joseph Sene was a very wealthy merchant in the country. MAJOR Thiare Marcel has ten Brothers and sisters and is the number seven child of his parents. Born in september 8, 1970, Marcel Thiare attended catholic school for elementary and middle school in his hometown of Fatick. He also went to the only public high school in the city who is named after of the serer's king Coumba Ndoffene Diouf.MAJOR Thiare Marcel is Serer which is the second largest ethnic group in Senegal. After graduating from High School in his town, he moved to Dakar the capital city of Senegal and attended the university of Dakar Law school where he graduated with honor and holds a master's in law and political sciences. In the Year 2000 he moved to the United States after several years of civilian employment he joined the U.S Army as an enlisted Soldier and few years later direct commissioned as a second Lieutenant . Major Thiare successfully promoted to First lieutenant and later as an Army captain. In 2020 marcel was promoted as A Major and is currently serving his country.
