MRSM Johor Bahru is a co-educational secondary boarding school established in 2012 and located in Masai, Johor Bahru District, Johor, Malaysia. The school is a part of a larger branch of junior science colleges operating under MARA.
Curriculum
editSince its establishment, the school has followed the Cambridge International GCSE curriculum alongside the regular government Secondary Education Standard Curriculum (KSSM). This indicates that that students would learn core subjects (i.e. Mathematics, Science, etc.) in English, but minor subjects (i.e. Computer Sciences, Art, etc. ) in Malay.
Tulash incident
editIn early 2023, an Indian boy named Tulash allgedly raped a year 8 girl in Biology Lab 5 of the academic block. The case was extensively covered up by the school authorities, ensuring as little information on the case was revealed to the general public.
