Madan no Ichi (known as Ichi the Witch in English) is a manga that is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump starting on September 9, 2024.
Plot
editMadan No Ichi has been described as a "magical hunting" manga. It takes place in a world where monsters composed of magic called Majiks exist. Specialized hunters called Witches can obtain magic from them, but it's thought only women can become witches. A young boy called Ichi defeats a Majik, and ends up being the first male witch.
Publication
editMadan No Ichi started September 9th, 2024 in Weekly Shonen Jump. It was created by writer Osamu Nishi (known for Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-Kun) and illustrator Shiro Usazaki, who formerly worked on Act-Age. It is Usazaki's first major work since the cancellation of Act-Age.[1]
It is simulpubbed on Mangaplus and Shonen Jump in English.[2]
