María Jesica Araceli Martínez Sthefani (born September 17, 1992), known as María Martínez, is an Argentine journalist, television presenter, actress and model.[1] She was born in Argentina, Posadas, Misiones.[2]
[3]In 2008 she was chosen and crowned Miss Argentina, her participation in international pageants was limited due to the legal inconveniences of the organizations that disputed the Miss Argentina title.[4][5][6][7]
Career
edit[2]Martínez Sthefani began her career as a model at 14 years of age. She studied literature at the National University of Misiones. In 2006 she participated in Wonder Woman Colombia.[8] She was a model for Jeans companies in the United States and Colombia.[9][10][11][12]
In 2012 and 2014, she began journalism in radio and television.[13][14] She was a television presenter on Channel 4, Posadas, Argentina. In 2019 she was a journalist for Radio El Mundo, and current journalist for Radio AMEP (METROPOLITAN ASSOCIATION OF JOURNALIST EDITORS).[15][16][17]
In 2019 she interviewed Argentine historian Alberto Lettieri.[18] In 2022 she interviewed the former Argentine Secretary of Internal Trade, Guillermo Moreno[19], the Argentine lawyer, Jonathan Baldiviezo, and the former Minister of Economy and Public Works, Julio de Vido.[20] In 2023 he interviewed the political scientist and former Argentine Chief of Staff of Ministers Juan Manuel Abal Medina[21], the representative of the Argentine social organization, Polo Obrero, Eduardo Belliboni[22], the Argentine trade unionist and politician, Néstor Pitrola[23], the Argentine journalist and ex-wife of the Argentine politician, Diego Santilli, Nancy Pazos[24], the Argentine politician and former Legislator of the City of Buenos Aires, Vilma Ripoll, and to the brother of the deceased model, and Argentine actress, Natacha Jaitt, Ulises Jaitt.[25]
In 2022, Martínez Sthefani was an actress in season 2 of the miniseries "Niñes mal", and played Gia Bariochi, where people with non-majority GLBTI sexual orientations or gender identities and the most common problems in drug abuse and toxic substance abuse are exposed. , alcohol, drug trafficking and corruption, executed by Venezuelan producer Carlos Daniel.[26] It was chosen to expose the image of the Argentine publisher Ciccus, encouraging reading through different formats.[27]
