Margarita Espada (born February 5, 1966) is a Puerto Rican educator, artist, activist, and the founder and artistic director of Teatro Yerbabruja, a theater organization known for its activism in Bay Shore, Long Island. Espada received her education at the University of Puerto Rico, and taught theater at Stony Brook University.
