Mari Esabel Valverde (b. 1987) is a Transgender Mexican-American classical composer, educator, and singer.
Born and raised in North Texas, Valverde is best known for her choral, chamber, and vocal compositions. She holds degrees from St. Olaf College (B.M.), the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (M.M.), and the European American Musical Alliance in Paris, France.
