Mathews Banda (born 6 August 2005) is a Zambian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Czech First League club Bohemians 1905 and the Zambia national team.[1]

Early career

Banda began his football career in Zambia, developing through the youth setup at Kafue Celtic. He later spent time on loan with Zambian Super League side Nkana, gaining top-flight experience.

On 6 February 2026, Banda signed with Czech First League side Bohemians 1905.[2]

International career

Banda represented the Zambia U20 side before earning his call-up to the senior Zambia national team.

He made his senior international debut in late 2025 and featured prominently in Zambia's squad during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, recording an assist against Mali during the tournament.[3]
