Matthew Salleh is a filmmaker in the United States. He has worked on documentary films about barbecue around the world, people and their relationships with dogs, and the adaptive reuse of form Pizza Huts in the United States. He and Rose Tucker established the Urtext film company in Adelaide, Australia.[1] Their documentary Barbecue received a James Beard Award. Their 2020 documentary We Don't Deserve Dogs is being released at SXSW festival.[2] It explores the relationship between men amd dogs.[3]

Barbecue features highlights the culture of grilling in various societies.[4][5][6]

Tucker and Salleh were based in Australia until relocating to Brooklyn, New York.[7] He wrote about making the film We Don't Deserve Dogs.[8]
