If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by DoubleGrazing 2 months ago. |

Matz Brittus (born in 1946) was completely unknown to the world before his death in Helsingborg in the late 2000s. But relatives to Brittus found a large collection of poetry and paintings in his small house on Soldatgatan.[2] They subsequently created a small art exhibition, and were after that able to sell almost all of the paintings but also fund the creation of ''The Brittus poetry collection''[3] which was a small pocketsized book released 2 years after his death in 2011.
His Parents Gabriel Brittus(second generation immigrant from Brazil) and Amanda Segerkvist(born in Ljusdal, Sweden) lived in very small town called Näsviken in the northern parts of Sweden, where they had three children the last of them was Matz Brittus information about the other children is at this time not possible to find. Matz lived his early adult life in Hudiksvall only a few miles from his family home, he worked in construction and a few different stores and coffee shops. In the early 70s Matz moved to Stockholm for a time and in the mid 70s he met the love of his life Linda Engman and they moved to Helsingborg and got married in 1976. They lived together until his untimely death in 2009 caused by Huntingtons Disease.[2]
Matz Brittus was highly praised within both the Swedish arts and poetry community, not only that all his painting sold for a total of 20.000$ in an auction held by family members in 2011.[4] His book also became a popular read, appealing to both older and younger audiences alike.
