Early life and high school

Alejado attended Bishop Gorman High School located in Las Vegas, Nevada. During Alejado's senior season, he threw for 2,714 yards and 35 touchdowns with no interceptions and completed 77.4% of his passes. He also ran for three touchdowns and 261 yards on 25 carries.[1] Coming out of high school, Alejado was rated as a three-star recruit, where he held offers from Hawaii, UNLV, and Utah State.[2][3] Ultimately, Alejado decided to commit to play college football for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.[4][5]

College career

Alejado got his first collegiate start in the regular season finale of the 2024 season versus the New Mexico Lobos.[6][7] In his first career start, Alejado completed 37 of his 57 pass attempts for 469 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for ten times for 54 yards in a 38-30 win over the Lobos.[8][9] For his performance versus New Mexico, Alejado was named the Mountain West offensive player of the week.[10] Alejado finished the 2024 season, appearing in four games with one start, where he completed 49 of his 70 pass attempts for 585 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing 20 times for 67 yards.[11][12]
