Early life and high school
editAlejado attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a senior, he threw for 2,714 yards and 35 touchdowns with no interceptions and completed 77.4% of his passes. He also ran for three touchdowns and 261 yards on 25 carries.[1] Coming out of high school, Alejado was rated as a three-star recruit and held offers from Hawaii, UNLV, and Utah State, ultimately committing to play college football for the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.[2][3]
College career
editAlejado got his first collegiate start in the 2024 regular season finale versus New Mexico.[4] In his first career start, he completed 37 of his 57 pass attempts for 469 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for ten times for 54 yards in a 38-30 win.[5][6] For his performance, Alejado was named the Mountain West Conference offensive player of the week.[7] Alejado appeared in four games with one start in 2024, completing 49 of his 70 pass attempts for 585 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing 20 times for 67 yards.[8]
