Molecular Steve is an American indie rock band from Austin, Texas.
History
editThe group formed in 2023 and includes former and current members of Prescott Curlywolf, The Meat Puppets, Gleeson, The Damnations, Black Drum Set, and Grand Champeen. In 2024, the band released three songs, "Heavens to Betsy", "Wolfman"[1] and "Psychic Radio". On July 19 2024, the band released their debut album, Molecular Steve, through Strolling Bones records.[2] The band played at the 2024 South by Southwest (SXSW) annual film and music festival and regularly plays at the Continental Club in Austin, Texas.[3] On July 27 2024, the band announced that they would play at the 2024 Austin City Limits music festival.[4]
