Dr. Mona Shenassa Toubian
editDr. Mona Shenassa Toubian (b. 1971) is an Iranian-American psychologist, therapist, professor, and author based in Los Angeles.
Career
editToubian earned her Bachelor of Arts from UC Berkeley in 1994 and continued to Georgetown University, where she graduated with an MBA in 2000. In 2008, she received her MFT from Pepperdine University, and entered Saybrook University’s PhD program, graduating in 2017 with a specialty in “Consciousness, Spirituality, and Integrative Health.”
She is recognized for founding the Revolutionary Wellness Center and Institute, which specializes in holistic coaching and therapeutic practices.[1] Toubian's work primarily focuses on her proprietary therapeutic method, Soul Work Evolution™, which integrates “ancient wisdom teachings across different traditions” with modern psychological practices.[2]
Toubian has served as a graduate professor of psychology at Pepperdine University and operates MST International Inc., a consulting firm that offers leadership and management training.[3][4] Toubian’s ventures have included speaking engagements and workshops at various professional and educational institutions, including the Conscious Life Expo and EdTalk, and with authors such as Rabbi Manis Friedman.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
Personal Life
editToubian was born in Iran in 1971 and emigrated to the United States in 1978. She is Jewish. Her great grandfather was Dr. Habib Levy, a noted scholar of the Jews of Iran. Her aunt is author Dora Levy Mossanen. Toubian resides in Los Angeles with her husband and four children.
