More than a game, more than life (Montenegrin: Više od igre, više od života) is a documentary film that was made by Montenegrin sports journalist Milutin Grgur.
The documentary revolves around a group of former boys who maintained their friendship during the Yugoslav Civil Wars in the 1990s. The journey of Robert Vukman and Ljubisa Maskovic revolves around a book that was saved by their friendship, and they manage to return it to those to whom it belonged.[1]
The film highlights the personal stories of resilience and camaraderie, and also the background of Yugoslav football, in particular the rivalry between Red Star Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) and HNK Hajduk Split. Sports journalists such as Zdravko Reic, Edo Peci and Milojko Pantic contribute to the narrative with their insights.
The team that worked on the film consists of co-writer Silvija Glavic Grgur, cinematographers Darko and Dejan Vlahovic and editor and director Srdjan Nikolic.
