Mother of the Bride is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Mark Waters and written by Robin Bernheim. It stars Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove, and Benjamin Bratt. The film is scheduled to be released by Netflix on May 9, 2024.

Cast

In February 2023, it was reported that the romantic comedy film Mother of the Bride was in production for a Netflix release. Mark Waters was hired to direct from Robin Bernheim's screenplay and Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove, and Benjamin Bratt were cast in lead roles.^[4] Principal photography began in April 2023 in Phuket, Thailand.^[5]^[6]

Mother of the Bride is scheduled to be released by Netflix on May 9, 2024.^[7]
