Moznaim (Hebrew: מאזנים, Moznayim, meaning "Scales") is a Hebrew-language literary journal published by the Hebrew Writers Association in Israel. It was established in 1929 and has published literary works, criticism, essays, and other material relating to Hebrew literature. The journal's first issue appeared on 15 March 1929.

[edit]Moznaim was established by the Hebrew Writers Association in Israel as a literary periodical devoted to Hebrew literature. Its first issue was published on 15 March 1929. The journal became associated with the literary activities of the Hebrew Writers Association and served as a venue for Hebrew-language writers and literary criticism.[1]
The journal's establishment followed an earlier publication with the same name that appeared in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1926. That earlier Moznaim was a Hebrew-language literary journal edited by Yosef Yirmeyahu Glas, but it ceased publication after two issues. It is distinct from the journal established by the Hebrew Writers Association in 1929.[2]
