Sohail is a professor of sustainable infrastructure at the Water, Engineering and Development Centre of Loughborough University, UK[5]. His research focuses on improving the quality of life in developing countries through sustainable infrastructure. He has implemented his research work in Asia, Africa and Europe. He led the research team which won several prestigious grants from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to "reinvent the toilet"[6][7]. Sohail has
