Porshia Lynn Brooks (December 14, 1992 - November 16, 2013) was a 20-year-old American Woman from Cincinnati, Ohio, she got killed from Norwood, Ohio on November 16, 2013 during the Robbery, she rushed to hospital and later pronunciation Deceased and her boyfriend Aaron Martin was survived but he suffered a Brain injury, the Perpetrator who 23 year-old named Jaleel Smith Riley who killed Porshia Brooks by his gun.
Jaleel Smith Riley was arrested in November of 2015 and charges for Aggravated Murder and Attempted Murder and Robbery in August 11, 2016 Jaleel Smith Riley was Sentence to Life imprisonment without the possibility Parole on October 19, 2016 and he is currently in Madison Correctional Institution in London, Ohio where he is currently being held.
On December 5, 2023 The judge Sentence the man named Josiah Fousse who currently in Michigan Prison, Josiah Fousse was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and involvement of Porshia Brooks death, Josiah Fousse was Sentence to 18 years in prison.

editPorshia Lynn Brooks (December 14, 1992 - November 16, 2013) was born December 14, 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thomas Brooks Jr. & Sharon Brooks. Porshia was the second child of Sharon and the fifth child of Thomas, Porshia For Porshia's high school career she enrolled at Hughes Center, she was no other than the Zoo Academy. After what she thought was the longest 2 years she was finally able to officially be apart of something she thought was truly amazing and a dream come true. To be a student, going to school at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, part of Hughes Center's Zoo Academy. All of her desire, dedication and discipline paid off, she graduated in 2011. She was 1 of only 2 students that year to earn the Ohio Department of Educations Vocational Certificate in Zoo Animal Care and Conservation., she met her boyfriend named Aaron Martin every since before the Robbery incident.

editOn November 16, 2013 at approximately 10:15 PM (ET) Porshia Brooks was sitting in a car in Norwood while on a date with her boyfriend, Aaron Martin in Carthage Avenue in Norwood, Ohio at around 10:30 PM (ET) but all sudden she was approached by a group of strangers who trying to rob the car that night According to initial filings, Josiah Fousse and Jaleel Smith-Riley, and Darnell Byrd, shot and killed 20-year-old Porshia Brooks with gun and shot her boyfriend, 21-year-old Aaron Martin she rushed to University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center and she pronounced Deceased she was only 20-year-old and Aaron Martin was survived but he suffered a Brain injury Porshia Brooks death held in Funeral but she was cremated and her ashes given to her mother on December 7, 2013.

editAfter Porshia Brooks was killed, Martin is in critical condition, Their families said they want help solving the mystery of who opened fire on the two, the family spoke the Norwood Poilce on November 20, 2013 the Norwood Poilce searching the person was responsible of shooting on November 27, 2013 The Norwood Poilce was released the Security Footage of three man who is identified adult on March 11, 2014 a Family and Supporters justice for Porshia Brooks the people Marching around for Porshia death in Cincinnati on May 19, 2015 Mother of Porshia Brooks Sharon Brooks and volunteers Handing the paper from the identified killer of Porshia and people searching the murderer.
The Norwood Poilce trying to search the murderer but they didn't not found it, on November 16, 2015 Porshia Brooks Family pay tribute to our daughter the second anniversary of her shooting death.

editOn November 5, 2015 The Norwood Poilce announced that The Murderer of Porshia Brooks was arrested the identified man who is African-American man named Jaleel Smith Riley the man who responsible the murder of Porshia Brooks, Jaleel Smith Riley was arrested on Thursday, for the change of Aggravated Murder and Robbery, Smith-Riley was taken by custody by Norwood Poilce Department.
Smith-Riley is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center where he will be arraigned Friday morning.

editSmith-Riley first appeared in The Hamilton County Prosecutor is seeking the death penalty for the suspect in the 2013 murder a then 20-year old Porshia Brooks The Police say Smith-Riley shot Porshia Brooks and Aron Martin as they sat in a car on Carthage Avenue on November 16, 2013 during a robbery. According to Deters, Smith Riley ordered Martin to get out of the car. He held Martin at gunpoint and searched him. When he didn't find anything of value to steal, investigators say Smith-Riley shot him in the head. He then reached into the car and shot Brooks. Brooks died from her injuries. Martin survived, but suffered devastating injuries, Smith-Riley was found guilty and seeking the death penalty until next court date.
