editNamala Balavenkata Subbarao was born in Andhra Pradesh, India. He pursued a Master of Science in Mathematics in 2002 and later obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in 2007 from Andhra University. In 2004, he completed an M.Phil. in Mathematics from Alagappa University. His academic background laid the foundation for his work in educational leadership, particularly in enhancing student learning outcomes, educational technology, and teacher training.

editSubbarao began his professional career in 2002 as a Mathematics faculty member at Santiniketan Junior College.
