Nani Razak (born Erna Fatma Muthalib; 19 September 1922 – 1 December 1988) was an Indonesian lawyer. She is known as a Member of the Honorary Council of the Indonesian Advocates Association and was a famous Indonesian lawyer in the 1980s.

Early life

Razak was born Erna Fatma Muthalib on 19 September 1922 in Jember Regency, East Java, as the third child and only daughter of the five children of Abdul Muthalib (1896–1973) and Rohana Muthalib (1900–1983). Her brothers were Abdullah Idwan (1918–1975), Edwin (1920–1991), Ahmed (1924–1993), and Barmansyah Latief Muthalib (1942–2004). She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia.

Death

Razak died at Metropolitan Medical Centre Hospital in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on 1 December 1988, due to splenic swelling and liver complication after being treated for three weeks at the age of 66.[1][2] She was buried at Karet Bivak Cemetery.
