Nazperver Hatun (Turkish Ottoman: نازپرورسلطان; meaning "coquettish"[1])(1556 – 1595) was a imperial consort of the Ottoman ruler Murad III.[2][3] By birth, she was a wallachian princess[3] whose personal name was Dobra Basarab,[4] daughter of Mircea V the Shepherd and his wife, Princess Chiajna of Moldavia.

Biography
editNazperver Hatun became a consort of Sultan Murad III after 1581, when his favorite Safiye Sultan was exiled in the Eski Saray.[4]
Later, she commissioned a mosque in Eyüp[6] and The Dede Mosque in Nișancular was also built by her.[4][7] It is unknown where she was buried.[7]
