Newdeal CRM is an Israeli customer relationship management (CRM) software platform developed in the early 2000s by the company Newdeal, founded and led by entrepreneur Boaz Avrahami.[1][2] The platform targeted call centers and customer-service operations, integrating telephony, ticketing, logistics and reporting into a single customer-facing application.[1]

History

[edit]

Newdeal was founded by Boaz Avrahami in Israel and developed the Newdeal CRM platform during the early 2000s, a period in which Israeli enterprises began shifting from product- and device-centric service systems to customer-centric architectures.[1] In a 2004 feature in the Globes annual Call Centers supplement, Avrahami, the company's chief executive, argued that the principal weakness of contemporary support technology was not its sophistication but its product-orientation, producing fragmented customer context and slow service response.[1]

Software

[edit]

According to the 2004 Globes profile, Newdeal CRM provided a unified workspace for customer-service agents covering inbound and outbound campaigns, direct customer communication, scheduled callbacks, technical-support workflows, logistics, internal messaging and reporting.[1] The system was designed around the concept of a single open customer record, presenting a service representative with a complete view of the customer's account, history and installed devices at the moment a call was received.[1][2]

Deployments and reception

[edit]

Newdeal CRM was adopted by Israeli enterprises, including Tadiran-Ampa, the national service operation for Tadiran-branded electrical and electronic appliances.[2] A nationwide consumer survey conducted by the Geocartography Institute in January 2003 and published in the trade supplement Hamivchan Shel Hamedina ("The State Test") ranked Tadiran-Ampa first among Israeli electrical-appliance service providers for the third consecutive year, with 36.7% of the general public and 51.0% of opinion leaders naming it the country's best service provider.[2] The survey report credited Tadiran-Ampa's deployment of Newdeal CRM with enabling each service representative to display a customer's full device inventory and account status at the moment of contact, shortening response time and supporting the company's top ranking.[2]
