Nico Collins is an American singer and songwriter known for his YouTube channel and original music. Born and raised in the United States, Collins began his musical journey on YouTube in July 2009.[1]
Collins gained significant popularity when he released original singles, lyric videos, and remixes of popular songs.[2][3] He has also released a collaboration with notable singer/songwriter Halsey. His channel has since amassed over 470,000 subscribers.
In addition to his YouTube success, Collins has established a strong presence on other social media platforms. His solo music has also achieved commercial success, with millions of streams worldwide.[4]
Collins frequently collaborates with his sister, Chelsea Collins[5], on his YouTube channel, showcasing their musical synergy. While details about his personal life are limited, he has since began a band project with his sister, titled "Nico and Chelsea Collins". The duo have released multiple commercial singles together. [6][7] [8] The duo also won the SongwriterUniverse “Best Song Of The Month” Contest for December 2016, for their song “I Never Knew That I Loved You.” [9] Nico & Chelsea Collins wrote and performed this ballad as a duet, but they’ve also written and recorded many songs separately, as solo singer/songwriters. Nico has performed sold out shows all over the world. He has performed at festivals like Lollapalooza and SXSW, as well as at major venues like The Bowery Ballroom in New York City and The Troubadour in Los Angeles. He also regularly hosts livestream performances on YouTube to connect with fans around the world.[11]
