Nitish Sharma Beejan is a Mauritian Politician belonging to the Labour Party serving as the member of Parliament representing constituency number 6 Grand Baie & Poudre d'Or since 11th November 2024. He was selected as candidate number two of Alliance du Changement for the general election on 10th November 2024.He was elected to the parliament with 28925 votes 61.95%

Career
editNitish Beejan was a former certified consultant in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and a teacher in human resource management, He was former Principal Occupational Safety and Health Officer at the Labor Ministry. He chose to resign from his duties in the public service to follow a long-held dream: to serve his country through politics. He has also worked closely with Mauritius Arya Ravi Veda Pracharini Sabha.
