Noble Desktop is a technology and design training school located in New York City.[1] Founded in 1990, Noble Desktop is among the oldest continually operating technology training schools in New York City.[2][3] They provide professional skills training in graphic design, computer programming, data science and finance.

History

edit

Noble Desktop was founded in 1990 by Scott Carson. Noble Desktop began as a desktop publishing company before beginning to offer design classes in 1994. In 1999, Noble Desktop ceased providing desktop publishing services and transitioned to full-time instruction.[4]

Areas of Training

edit

Noble Desktop is a certified training program licensed by the New York State Department of Education.

Noble Desktop offers training programs and shorter subject-focused classes in technology and design subjects, including data science, computer programming, graphic design and video editing. These include individual applications such as Adobe InDesign or Figma, programming languages, such as Python and JavaScript and broader professional skills, such as data science or full-stack web development.

Noble Desktop's classes are taught in a module format, with the larger certificate programs being composed of relevant combinations of shorter classes.

Their technology bootcamps are approved for GI Bill funding through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.[5]
