Health concerns

edit

On July 15, 2024, Norme tried to stay awake for twelve days straight with his brother Don assisting by using methods like splashing water and forcing him to stand when fatigue sets in,[5][6] while livestreaming on YouTube, for the next month,[7][4] but due to safety and health concerns, YouTube took down his livestream and gave him a community guideline strike about a few hours before he reached the 12-days mark.[8] He then switched to streaming on Kick but was banned shortly. About two hours left into the challenge, while streaming on Rumble, cops have arrived at his door for a welfare check, however, they didn't find anything concerning. He completed the challenge about two hours later.[9]

On October 16, 2024, Norme took on another challenge, staying in solitary confinement for a month with no light, while livestreaming on YouTube, to test if he goes insane. The challenge had ended on November 14, 2024.[10][11][12]
