Northern Maine Independent System Administrator, stylized as Northern Maine ISA, is an independent regional transmission group covering parts of Northern Maine which are electrically isolated from the remainder of the New England power grid.[1] NMISA coordinates transmission between electric utilities in Aroostook, Penobscot, and Washington Counties and manages a load of approximately 130 MW.[2]
