New Cvernovka (Slovak: Nová Cvernovka) is a cultural and creative center in Bratislava. It was founded in 2016 by the Nová Cvernovka civic association, and was to help artists, and other socio-cultural activities including open space for conducting workshops, exhibitions, and art events.[1]
Origins and Relocation:
Nová Cvernovka was established in 2016 by the Nová Cvernovka civic association, formed by artists, architects, and cultural activists previously based in the old Cvernovka textile factory. Forced to leave due to redevelopment, they relocated to the former Chemical School at Račianska 78.
