This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Most sources are just passing mentions. Notability is not inherited, thus being a son of a well know Mr Doe does not mean Junior Doe needs a standalone article. Instead, look for sources that strictly talk about the subject themselves that are independent of the subject. Tumbuka Arch (talk) 18:05, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: What you need to do is to show that Johnstone passes WP:NACTOR. I have solved the niggly little reference items for you, but please check what I have done and learn how to do it. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 08:45, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
