Olivia "Via" Pullman is a character in the book Wonder by R. J. Palacio. She is the older sister of the main protagonist August. She is aged 15 when the events of the book take place. She is the daughter of Nate Pullman. Her best friend is Miranda.
In the story she helps her sister August through hard times while going through hard times herself. After the summer holidays Via comes back to Miranda and her other friends, who have changed their style and met up without Via during the holidays. Via stops talking to them and starts sitting with a new group of friends at school, consisting of the geeky and techy kids, one of which is Justin, who plays the violin. Later in the story Justin becomes her boyfriend.
Via often comforts August when he is at his low points and convinces him to continue going to school. Without her, the story could not go on as it does since at mutliple points she is the only reason that August does not quit school entirely.
