• Comment: Theroadislong‬ (talk), but not everything that is notable has a Wikipedia article. The SFA awards are supported by the Irish Prime Minister and there's a significant coverage that can be found on Google news from various Irish media outlets, including the reputable RTE. The Irish Web Awards are covered by the Irish Times. Anastasia (Nastia) (talk) 17:34, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: A notable award here, would be one that had a Wikipedia article. Theroadislong (talk) 17:24, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: Theroadislong‬ (talk), thank you for the review.
There were only three awards listed. I didn't include any paid competitions. These awards are notable enough in Ireland. I included references for every award from independent sources - none of them were covered by the company itself.
For the 2010 award, OnePageCRM was assessed against other Irish startups founded in 2010, including Storyful.
The 2023 award was backed up by the Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach).
The 2018 award might not be that notable, you're right, but it was covered by Galway University, an independent source. That's why I included it. I've just removed the 2018 award from the article.
I'm happy to make any other edits if you could let me know what sticks out. I'd be grateful for your guidance.

  • Comment: Are any of the awards notable? Theroadislong (talk) 17:07, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: This reads exactly like an employee has written it to tell us everything that the company does, we need to know what people unconnected with the company have said. Theroadislong (talk) 16:58, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: To prove notability, I edited the draft to add extra references, including:
    1) reference 9 - a podcast with The Guardian (OnePageCRM's part starts at 16:20)
    2) reference 4 focuses only on OnePageCRM (published by The Times)
    3) reference 8 is another article that covers only OnePageCRM in The Times
    4) reference 23 is another Times article that mentions several companies but has a section dedicated exclusively to OnePageCRM at the end of the article
I also included references from other independent media in Ireland: The Irish Examiner (reference 12), Silicon Republic (reference 15), and Business Post (reference 16).
Please note that reference 30 includes a Forbes Advisor article that is written by Forbes Advisor staff (no external contributors). There are also no affiliate links in this article.

OnePageCRM is an Irish cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) company. It is the developer of a sales customer relationship management (CRM) tool for small and medium-sized businesses.[1] The company serves over 11,000 customers[2] in more than 80 countries[3] and reported annual recurring revenues exceeding €1 million as of 2018.[4]

History

edit

OnePageCRM was founded in 2010 by Michael FitzGerald in the NUI Galway Business Innovation Centre.[3][5] The company built a tool for managing daily sales tasks and activities,[4][6] incorporating concepts from David Allen's Getting Things Done (GTD) method.[3] The Times described OnePageCRM as a "task-driven, step-by-step guide through the sales process".[7]

The company's product development followed the lean startup methodology, initially offering OnePageCRM as a free tool and relying on user feedback to develop further functionality.[8][9]

In 2010, while still in beta, OnePageCRM won the 'Best New Web Application/Service' award at the Irish Web Awards, evaluated by over 150 independent judges.[10][11][12]

In 2011, OnePageCRM came out of beta and launched a public and paid version of its service.[13]

In 2013, OnePageCRM received funding from Enterprise Ireland and private investors[14] and created new jobs in Galway, Ireland.[15][16][17] It also became the first recipient of the Twilio Fund Europe 2013, a program established by Twilio and the US startup accelerator 500 Global (previously 500 Startups).[18][19][20] According to The Guardian, OnePageCRM attracted interest from large enterprises, such as IBM and Cisco.[9] In 2014, it had over 3,000 users across Ireland, the UK, the US, and also Australia.[12]

In 2018, CEO Michael FitzGerald undertook a month-long campervan tour across the UK to directly engage with small businesses.[21][22][23]

In 2020, the company shifted its focus from sales to customer support to assist small businesses during the COVID-19 lockdowns.[24]

In 2023, OnePageCRM was shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Innovator of the year’ category in the SFA National Small Business Awards 2024, which received support from the former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.[25] The Awards are organized annually by the Small Firms Association (SFA) and supported by various Irish organizations, such as National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), Enterprise Ireland, Irish Independent, and others.[26][27]

In late 2023, Chambers Ireland announced its endorsement of OnePageCRM.[28]

In 2024, Forbes Advisor included OnePageCRM in the list of simple CRM solutions for "its action-focused sales management".[29][30]
