Osman Ayob is a writer in Malaysia who has produced many works. He published works such as Gelombang Buana, Anak Primadona and Omak Bukan Penghalang. Among his works such as the novel Meniti Impian is also used as KOMSAS (Literary Component) in Malay Language Subjects at Form 2 (Grade 8) Level.

Osman Ayob was born on the 18th of April 1951 in Kampung Alor Gelenggang, in Yan district, Kedah state. He received his primary school education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Besar (Bukit Besar National School) and secondary school education at Sekolah Menengah Sultan Abdul Hailim (Sultan Abdul Halim High School). After that, he passed and succeeded in the Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (Malaysian Certificate of Higher Education) as a private candidate.[1]
In 2013, he continued his studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysian Science University) and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2017 before a Master of Arts in 2021/2022. He also graduated with a PhD from the International Management Development Institute in Indonesia.

editOsman Ayob published many works. He started writing since 1975 in the genre of short stories and novels. He has produced 170 short stories in various newspapers and magazines in his country.[2][3][4] This is a list of most works:
