The Panjkora Division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) is a perposed division aims to bifurcate the current Malakand Division, with Timergara as its headquarters.[1]
Named after the Panjkora River, this division would enhance governance and bring administration closer to the people. Timergara, strategically located in Lower Dir, is envisioned as the administrative hub, facilitating better infrastructure, healthcare, and education services. The division's creation is expected to boost tourism, agriculture, and trade, making Panjkora a key economic and cultural center in the region.[2][3][4]
